Hi!

     I am Elana Joy, the woman behind Write with Joy. I have seven years of experience working as a writing coach for post-secondary students as well as coaching high school and community college students in preparation for their university application essays. I am a CRLA Level III certified tutor and currently working toward an MFA in Creative Writing. I volunteer as a member of the English department faculty at Mount Tamalpais College and I am a faculty intern in the Peralta Community College District. On weekends, you can find me hiking with my family in the redwoods.

My favorite way to capture a moment is by telling its story, and I am passionate about supporting others in this practice.
